Hey everybody! So I've created this blog to share some of my favorite pictures from my trip with you. I'm not much for journaling, so I figured a photo-blog was the next best thing. Enjoy!

More Sights Around Dublin

The River Liffey

Our hostel is the blue building. It overlooks the river, and serves breakfast everyday in the American Southwest-themed pizza joint next door. The usual.

We were encouraged to watch the all-Irish hurling final that took place yesterday. It's a cross between lacrosse and field hockey, but 10 times more intense.
Every pub near the stadium was packed to the brim. The match was a really big deal here.

A memorial to all the lost lives in the struggle for Irish independence.

 The campus of Trinity College.
It was made up of a lot of really cool old architecture, although you weren't allowed to walk on the grass for some reason.

  2. So many possible explanations for why it's called hurling....especially given that you watched it at a pub...
